The merry tune of the ice

cream truck came around the corner
Smiling, laughing, running, the kids came out. Sweat
glistened on their foreheads, their tongues lolling out.
Icecream, icecream everywhere, some took
strawberry, some took chocolate, some added
sprinkles. I took cherry because I was very merry.
The icecream felt as cold as the North Pole.
My lips; tingling with the freezing sensation,
Ready to take another bite,
Tasting as sweet as sugar,
Smelling like heaven.
A kid on his bicycle,
ran into me,
WHOOSH!
The ice cream
splattered,
Splattered
all over
the floor
!!!!

Im from bandages
From clothes and computers
I am from the grass on my lawn
I am from my porch
Behind my house
My pine tree
Whose branches Ive known forever
Im from yummy chocolate and annoying braces
From colorful candy
Im from the Smart-Alecs
And the Dumb-Buts
From happiness, from sadness
Im from electronics
That make my life even more complex
Im from my house
Grilled chicken and spicy food
Under my pillow is an album
Showering memories on me
Unwanted and wanted
Waiting to be opened by others

They chirp
And dance
They ruffle their feathers
Which makes my day even better
They spin their heads round
Proud and chirping loud
They act like little singers
And I linger
Listening to their merry tune
I try
Try to mirror
The way they twitter
Me sounding like an un-earthly dolphin
Chirping at the birds outside
Seeming like theyre losing their minds

My old, old teacher

On the board writes equations
Full of unknown terms
On my messy paper
My notes going on and on
Making me very bored
I looked around, and my classmates faces were clueless and bored
And i suddenly looked to my teacher
The lights flickered on and off and on
All the terms in the equation
Appeared and disappeared from my paper
My brain powered down because of the confusing terms
Some were long terms, some were hard terms, some were short terms
But none ever registered in my brain, which was ever so bored
All the terms flew off everyones paper
Staring and unaffected, the teacher
Sat while the terms combined to make equations
I thought I was imagining it all, thinking about the equations on and on
Someone shouted, look at the terms midair! and the agreements went
on and on
All the terms
And equations

Were flying and were not anymore very boring

The teacher
All she did was stare at her paper
Slob balls of paper
Were being thrown across the room and the lights suddenly flickered
on
Ready to teach, the teacher
Shot up and all the midair terms
Disappeared, replaced with not so boring
Normal terms and equations
The students stared at the equations
I drew a smiley-face on my paper
I wasn very bored
Anymore, and my brain slowly turned on
All the terms
Now were making sense, thanks teacher!
The teacher wrote the equations
And terms on the board which I copied on my paper
My brain actually on and not bored

Never give up on what you really want to do.

The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts.
-H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
If faced with problems
Difficulty topped on difficulty
Strike through
With your head up high
Even if no one is believing in you
Dream, dream big
Reach for the stars
Believe you can fly
Tell your own story
Shoot through the sky
Like the sky is on fire
When the odds are stacked against you
Doubts piling one after another
Like a blowup
An explosion
Pick yourself up
And strike through
Never, never give up
And always believe in yourself

The day after today

You dont know
What will happen
Tomorrow
Tomorrow is mysterious
Today; being the detective
To find out what will happen
Tomorrow
The only way to find out
What happens
Tomorrow
Is to wait
And wait
For tomorrow is a new day full of different opportunities

Batters Victory
Victory!!
I have done it!
I splay my hands out
Sweaty at holding the bat for long
I slide on my knees
Looking up
Up, up, up
At the sky
Showering my gratitude
My homerun
Pushes the crowd on wild mode
The crowd whoops
And yells
Getting out of their seats
Happy for the victory
I feel a rush of adrenaline
My brain and nerves shouting
Energy, victory, energy, energy
