Prior to my position with the University of Alberta, | was an administrator in public education for 30 years and | have had many opportunities to work with outstanding young teachers. In my opinion, Lindsay has the potential to be one of the very best, She has shawm me real enthusiasm for teaching. Her unit planning assignments revealed her ability to transfor specified learner outcomes into valuable, exciting and motivating lesson plans. She developed @ unit plan that is a testament to her efforts to master that content and to understand it in terms. of how student leaming would address those outcomes. It was one of the best units submitted that term. Her high academic standing in my class is evidence of her drive and determination to be the best. Her personality is well adjusted to suscess in the classroom. When she taught a sample lesson to our class, she was poised and enthusiastic. Her use of voice, posture and eye: contact were excellent.
