The snow softly falls

Each day becomes shorter
How I love winter
The snow melts away
The flowers come out to play
Spring, Spring here to stay
Schools out, time to play
Heat, Heat its hot again
Schools out, time for friends
The leaves all fall down
As does the temperature
Winter, Winter on its way
The canyon is brisk
Leaves become shades of amber
The canyon is home

The warming of the fire
Winter gives me a peaceful feel
The snow melts away
The flowers come out to play
Spring, Spring here to stay
The bees emerge from their homes
Time to collect the pollen
Schools out, time to play
Heat, Heat its hot again
Schools out, time for friends
We need to enjoy summer

While we are still young and free

The leaves all fall down
As does the temperature
Winter, Winter on its way
We enjoy the football games
Then comes the holidays
The canyon is brisk
Leaves become shades of amber
The canyon is home
I wait for the snow to fall
Its a winter wonderland
