RISE OF COMMUNISM

Communism is the theory that

all people should be equal
and there should be no
classes. Everyone should
work for the good of the
country and wealth would be
equally shared amongst all
citizens.

5/20/16

This was not favored by most countries in Europe

and America.
Most countries were capitalist and did not favor
communism.
While communism favored equality for everyone,
capitalism had some fundamental differences.
In capitalism, it is believed that some people
naturally have more resources and thus things
will naturally be unequal.
In capitalism competition is encouraged while in
communism it is not!

5/20/16

This is known
as the
Russian
Revolution.
