Shows very good knowledge of the curriculum, particularly in mathematics.

This is
definitely a strength. Amanda planned an excellent series of lessons on number
lines. This included a range of activities class, pair and individual and a formative
assessment piece. Each lesson catered for a full range of abilities. Amanda always
made sure capable children were extended and the low children were encouraged
and felt success.
Amanda showed a very well developed awareness of how students learn. She
catered very well for a particularly challenging child (ADHD).

Plans for writing, religious education and mathematics were very good and included
all necessary aspects.
