Pre-requisite to Avail of CSC COMEX To avail of CSC COMEX, a duly activated COMEX user account is necessary COMEX user account creation and registration is available online via the COMEX website www.comex.csc.gov.ph/user. Activate immediately the created user account by accessing the corresponding activation link sent by COMEX through a confirmation e-mail. (Note: The confirmation e-mail may be found in the SPAM folder.) C. Three-month Prohibition on Taking the Career Service Examination Applicants must NOT have taken the same level of Career Service Examination being applied for, either through the Paper-and-Pencil Test (PPT) mode or the ‘Computerized Examination (COMEX) mode, within the last three (3) months. D. Personal Appearance for Confirmation of Examination Slot and Actual Examination Examination applicants must appear personally before the designated CSC Office on the scheduled date and time for the processing of examination application and for the actual examination. Applicants must bring the following requirements: a. Original and photocopy of any of the following ID cards, which must be valid (not expired), and contains the name, clear picture, date of birth and signature of the applicant, and the name and signature of the issuing agency's current head/authorized representative: Driver's License, SSS ID, GSIS 1D, Philhealth ID, current Company/Office ID, current School ID, Postal ID, BIR ID, Barangay ID, Voter's ID, Passport, or Police Clearance NOTE: 1. ID card is a MUST. The “NO ID, NO APPLICATION PROCESSING” and “NO ID, NO EXAMINATION” rules are strictly implemented. 2. Any other ID card not included in the above list shall NOT be accepted 3. Photocopy only of ID card shall NOT be accepted b. For applicants without date of birth in their ID card/s, original and photocopy of Birth Certificate issued/authenticated by the National Statistics Office NOTE: 1. ID card without date of birth shall NOT be accepted 2. Birth Certificate issued/authenticated by the Local Civil Registrar shall NOT be accepted 3. Fee for digital information Effective June 20, 2014, a uniform service fee of PhP80.00 for the capturing of applicants’ digital information (photo, signature and biometric fingerprints) shall be collected from each applicant of the CSC COMEX in addition to the examination fee of PhP600.00. The said service fee is contained in CSC Resolution No. 1400650 which was promulgated on April 30, 2014 and published on June 4, 2014 in The Philippine Star. Accordingly, a total of PhP680.00 shall be collected from CSC COMEX applicants. F. Test Results Test results shall be available within one week after the date of examination. It shall be released officially through posting of the list of passers in the CSC website. On the other hand, issuance of Certificate of Eligibility shall be available one week after the release of test results.
