Workflow

In this task you will understand the benefits of using Workflows.


A workflow is a series of activities that follow execution paths. It uses conditions
and a table association to determine when to start, continue, and end. You can
automat approval, create tasks, apply condition, send notification, etc. using
workflow.
Use the Workflow Editor to create/modify Workflows.
Navigate to Workflow > Workflow Editor.

To edit a workflow: Click the list menu icon on the Equipment Request Workflow
tab at the left and click Checkout
To assign the approval to a group:
In the Core Activities list on the Core tab, expand the Approvals folder and locate
the Approval-Group activity.

Drag Approval-Group onto the transition line.


Fill in the fields on the form, as appropriate
Select the Group lock icon.

Select the Search looking glass icon.

Select the appropriate group.

Click Submit.
Similarly other core activities can also be used.
