Help Document For Xiaomi Xiaoyi Smart Camera

1. How to download the English Version APP for Xioayi Camera?

Two apps available, Yicamera and Xiaomi Smart Home.
Yicamera support English for both Apple and android device.
Xiaomi Samart Home support English only for Apple device currently.

For Apple, you can search the "360ants" in the APP store to down load it.

Search Xiaomi and download this APP on Apple app store.

Also can scan the QR code on the user manual to download the APP (two types APP QR code
optional on the manual, you can scan the right side QR code(Yicamera) for English, scan the left
side QR code(Xiaomi Smart Home) for Apple).

2. Can this camera connect to the PC to see the images.

This Xiaoyi camer is just compatible for iOS 6.0 and above, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and
Android Device. It cant using on PC to see images. (but can connect the USB cable to PC get
power)
Can down load some APP simulator such as BlueStacks, AppleWin and then you can used the
APP on your PC.

3. How to search Xiaoyi camera and add with APP.

First of all, The newest APP need a MI account to login, please create a MI account on the
XIAO MI official website. >>>CLICK HERE<<<
Also can according to the APP guide to create the MI account.

After finished the above 4 steps, then your phone will received a verification code, please
insert the code and click NEXT to complete create a XIAOMI account. Then you can login
the APP to start using the Yi Camera. :

If its the first time you connect to the camera:

A.power on camera, wait until orange light flashes(If the light didnt flash, please insert
the pin to reset hole for a while until the indicate light turn yellow for long, prompts voice
chong zhi cheng gong, then the yellow light will change to orange light and flashes), you
will heard a voice deng dai lian jie

B.connet your camera to wifi: Accoring to the APP guide, insert your wifi user name and
password to connect Xiaoyi camera to the wifi. Click the next to continue.

C. when blue light flashes, camera is connectiong to wifi, prompts voicelian jie zhong;
then the blue light will light on for long, now the camera is successful connected to the wifi,
will prompts voicelian jie cheng gong.
And you can see the screen as :

Then click the connect and starting using your XiaoYi Camera.

4. Why cant search and connect camera to the APP?

1. Download the latest smart camera APP.
2. Please check the Xiaoyi camera light condition, different colors of light represent
different conditions.
3. Check the router configuration if correct
A. 5G router is not support.
B. need the router encryption for WPA/connected mode.
C. Disable the QOS in the advanced Settings
D. Closed the router wireless control(cancelled the blacklist and whitelist setting of router.)
E. close the wireless access control, cancel the black and white list option;
F. Open DHCP;
G. 360 portable or other WiFi device does not support.
4. Manually restart the router.
5. Check the SD card.
(1) Insert the camera a 4g to 32 GB TF card (specifications for Class4-10);
(2) Upgrade camera APP and firmware to the latest version;
(3) Formatting the TF card (Fat32 mode). (Can handle by the camera APP running)
6. Reset camera. (From personal test, its better to remove the SD card out, otherwise it
maybe failed to reset)

Tips :
Next time using you neednt connect again with above steps, just Open the wireless network, then
run the APP is ok, very convenient.
If the camera using with different wifi environment, need to reset the camera and delete the
camera from APP(step: Camera setting>delete), repeat the above steps.
One APP can connect several Xiaoyi camera, but one camera just can connect to one APP.
If you are using the take pictures / take video without a SD card inserted, the photo and the
video will store in your phone (photos and videos file : find in Yunyi folder); if have a SD card
inserted pictures and video will store in the SD card
If you want to using the playback function, need to insert a SD card(more than 8GB is Better).

The camera firmware and the Xiaoyi APP will upgrade after a timesome days or some months,
in order to using the newest function, youd better check the update information after some
time(step: setting > camera/app update.) and upgrade camera APP and firmware to the latest
version
Camera has the two-way radio talking function.
Can power from 5V USB port such as PC, power bank. Also comes with the power adapter for
you so that you can get power from 110-240V power supply.
Wifi need the password to connected, if your WIFI didnt setting with a password, please change
your setting.
