NIFTY(National stock exchange for fifty)

NIFTY is a benchmark index of NSE


It is managed by India Index Services and Products Ltd. and CRISIL
It consists of 50 stocks out of 1659 stocks of NSE
NIFTY was constructed in the mid of 1990
It is valued on the basis of free float capitalization method using
base as 1000
It takes 1995 as the base year
It is situated at Delhi
