Introduction
In my portfolio I display my work in English, History, Physiology, Psychology, and
Government. I found these documents to properly display my work at El Dorado High. I was not
a good writer when I entered El Dorado. However, my skill began to strengthen through my
work in essays. Also writing work in different classes helped me learn to write about different
stuff. I have found structuring my essays before I write them makes the process much easier! I
used to sit down and think for hours over one sentence but I learned to let the words flow from
your mind to your paper. You almost have to break the mental block, but after this writing
became much easier. My favorite work was my personal statement. I feel that I got to let out
feelings that are really dear to me. And it ultimately won me a scholarship!
