I feel immense pleasure in writing and welcoming all pass-out GITSians as

GITS Alumni, to their beloved institution. Since its inception GITS has
evolved as an outstanding entity providing technical and managerial
education in the region. This year GITS is celebrating its Crystal Jubilee
with the achievement of still being among the top ranking institutions in
southern Rajasthan.
Your institute is now actively involved in building up a strong Alumni
Association as the institution is known through its Alumni .Today IITs are
known through IITians. It is heartening that USA has made three
documentaries which analyzed the way in which alumni of IITs have excelled
themselves and how they scaled great heights in their professional careers.
Every institution must strive to make their graduates feel proud of
themselves and their *alma maters*.
In line with this and with the support from the management, the Alumni Cell
is organizing an Alumni Meet on *18 April, 2016* for all pass out students
from *2007 to 2013* between *5PM-7PM* which will be *followed by the Annual
function* at* GITS campus* itself.
The objective of this initiative is to make efforts for maintaining a
life-long connection between the institute and its alumni. This Alumni Meet
will be a medium to have reunions to recall past memories, share
experiences of get-togethers and a walk-through of all the changes that
have taken place in GITS since its inception. I personally invite you to
attend this meet and become part of an unforgettable experience. We are
also planning to felicitate the alumni by presenting Achievement Awards for
their contribution and active involvement in Alumni activities. Further we
have *plans to open Alumni chapters in major cities* of the country for
organizing diversity of events, programs and services in coming years to
foster the belongingness despite the distances between us.
