Compare is when see whats the same about them and contrast is what different about them

COMPARE & CONTRAST

One is the lines cannot touch each other.


The lines have to be straight and sometimes can tilt to the
side.
If two parallel lines are cut by atransversal, then the
alternate exterior angles are congruent.

PARALLEL LINES

One is a road it has to sides and are parallel to each other


Another one is a sheet of paper they have several lines on it.
And sometimes railroad tracks ca be parallel

Perpendicularmeans "at right angles".
Alinemeeting another at a right angle, or 90 is said to
beperpendicularto it.
