Youngstown State University (Youngstown, OH 44555) August 2010-December 2014. Major in


Telecommunication Studies, minor in Social Media Content. GPA = 3.54 (Cum Laude). Focus was
in single camera productions and non-linear editing. Member of Lambda Pi Eta.
Activities Homework Express- While working for this live TV show, I did everything from
producing and shooting 30-second spots to producing over a dozen live shows.
Sports Broadcast- Worked a wide variety of jobs including Camera Operator, Director,
Producer and Graphics.
Awards Nominated for a regional Emmy award for my role as producer in Homework
Express. I also took home a 2nd place national award through the BEA/NAB through my
producing role with Homework Express. YSU has awarded me with 2 distinct honors for
leadership and for academic/extracurricular excellence.
Pymatuning Valley High School (Andover, OH 44093) Graduated June 2010. GPA=3.28. I
worked on a well-rounded education by taking all of the core classes as well as a Technologies
class and Multimedia class.
Awards 1st place in the Cuyahoga Community College Tech Prep Showcase video
competition. 1st place in the video product development competition at the state level of
SkillsUSA and went on to take 5th in the nation in the same category. Also received an
honorary award from the Andover (Ohio) Public Library for my videography work on a
project in conjunction with them.

Portland, ME
- Full Time Videographer. Work with Panasonic AJ-HPX3100g with a Fujinon HD 2x lens.
Edit on Avid news cutter and P2 Editors. Participated in the NPPA Advanced Storytelling
Workshop in April of 2016. Most of my work is general assignment videography with a
steady mix of spot news and feature. I have experience setting up and using microwave
production trucks, satellite trucks, and mobile broadcast units.

WFMJ News (30hrs/week)
Youngstown, OH
- Part time Videographer. I shoot on a Sony PMW350 with a Fujinon HD lens. I edit on
Edius, a Grass Valley Non-Linear Editor. 1st Place- Cleveland Press Club All-Ohio
journalist.

WFMJ Sports (20hrs/week)

- Intern. I worked with the videographers and reporters in their everyday activities from
gathering stories to going out and covering the stories/events with them. I figured out that I
want to pursue my career either as a producer or videographer. I became competent with
Edius during my time with the sports department.

Youngstown Phantoms/ Pritt Entertainment Group (Freelance)
Youngstown, OH
- Camera Man/ Production Crew. Duties included shooting the Youngstown Phantoms
Hockey team during their home games. Aside from that, I have also shot High School
Basketball Tournaments and various other event.
