The Presentation of Lisette Model

Sammys Bar
New York

This photo was taken by Lisette

Model with a tonal range and palate
that takes the audience into the era
of the 1940s along with its black
and white color. Because this photo
can be recognized that it is within
the 40s era, with little research it is
found to be that it was taken in this
time period, no later than the era
pretending to look back at
something.

Running Legs
When Lisette Model had her
series of Running Legs, she
wanted to focus on the busy
streets of New York portraying
how people were in a rush to get
to their destination.

Reflections
In this series, Reflections, the
photo is meant to represent randompasserby and skyscrapers.

Reflets
One of her other photos in the
Reflection series is this
photograph called Reflets. It
has the perfect demonstration of
the passerby.

Woman with
Veil

This photo is nothing that needs to

be fully explained. It is simply a
photo capturing a woman with a veil,
which is of course the photos name.
This is important because it may be
simple but Lisette Models reason for
taking such a photo is to capture the
ordinary citizen. She captures photos
that comes passionately from the gut
as her quote goes simply, never
take a picture of anything you are
not passionately interested in.
