Time and Attendance Sheet Instructions


For Non-Exempt Employees:

The Time and Attendance Sheet shall be completed during each pay period (1-15 and 16-31).
All hours worked within each Pay Period shall be recorded, along with any leave taken within the Pay Period.
All overtime worked within a Pay Period must be approved before it is worked.
The Time and Attendance Sheet must be signed by the employee and supervisor certifying that the hours are correct.
The Time and Attendance Sheet shall be submitted to Payroll as per the attached due date schedule.
FT are employees with 40 hours per week, PT are employees with less than 40 hours per week, Temp are non-benefited employees

For the formulas to work properly, hours "In" and hours "Out" must entered into the Time and Attendance Sheet as listed above.
Remember to type in the ":" (colon) and put a space between the time and "AM" or "PM".

For Exempt Employees:


1 The Time and Attendance Sheet shall be completed for:

Bereavement Leave
Jury Duty
Leave without Pay
2 The Time and Attendance Sheet shall be submitted to Payroll at the end of the pay period in which the leave is taken.
