It appears from the date stamp that this exchange took place more than a year ago. Considering that I do not see a sentence anywhere in our response that says, "Thank you, we would appreciate it if you took and submitted photos for the city to use," I am not particularly surprised that there is a misconception between the two parties involved about what was agreed to and what is still pending. That being said, it seems like this would be a perfect time to put on our customer service hat and write back to Jo to reiterate that ve appreciate her offer and would be thrilled to accept any photos she and her husband would care to present us with. In my experience it is often necessary to be explicit and forthright when dealing with people who are trying to work with me, but may not know how to go about the process due to a lack of familiarity. It appears that we have a golden opportunity here to make Jo feel appreciated while obtaining some photography for promotional purposes at no cost. By extension, Jo's sense of pride in her contribution may spread to other airport users. If you would be more comfortable, I would be happy to write Jo directly. However, it would be desirable if the note of appreciation and acceptance came from our airport manager, not a city commissioner. Let me know how I can help. Jamie
