Do you know what love is?
The first type of love is Tough love. This type you guys may have heard of, a show that I love,
Breaking Bad, one of the characters were a drug addict and her father gave her tough love to try
and break her addiction. Tough love is promoting somebodys welfare by enforcing rules on
them or making them take responsibility for their actions and cutting off their dependance on
other people. Tough love is usually used on criminals and addicts and researchers have found
that parents who enforce tough love, their children were less likely to become addicts, while
parent who didnt enforce it, their children became more susceptible to addiction later in life. In
Williams Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet, in act 3 scene 3 lines 108 though 154 , the Friar,
who is close to Romeo, insults him but points out that he should be thankful that the Prince
banished him instead of giving him the death sentence and should stop crying on the floor like a
child.
The second type is one we are all know, the cherry atop the sundae of happiness, romantic love.
Romantic love has no true definition but it is thought to be intimate moments that contribute to a
strong relation of close, deep, and strong love. Married couples often, but not all the time,
experience romantic relationships with their other. Scientists say that romantics are completely
neurological and actually increases our sex drive and crave for sexual gratification. From Romeo
and Juliet in act 5 scene 3, lines 119 through 175 as Romeo drinks the poison and Juliet stabs

herself to be with Romeo, this represents romantic love because they love each other enough to
kill themselves to be with one another.
