Dear First Grade Families,
This week, I want to talk about persistence. With three
weeks left, we are in the home stretch toward summer
vacation and grade 2. With that said, these are special
weeks for deep learning. Our little learners know the
routines and can take control of their own learning. I
find that I can push them so much further at this time of
the year.
With that said, I know we are all feeling a little burnt
out, but we need to push on. There is still time for your
children to move up reading levels, improve math
fluency, and become better writers, inquirers and
explorers. We need to model the attitude that the
everyday is important right down to the last day of
school, because it is. We will be learning right to the end
in first grade!

you will be doing things like going to bed,
