We will be working on
culminating tasks this
week in Literacy. Please
make sure that your child
continues to read each
night and complete the
reading log.

Our classes will be going on a field trip to

UTCs Challenger center after Thanksgiving
Break. Field Trip permission slips are due on or
before November 23. Mrs. Willis, Mrs. Rollins,
and Mrs. Horvath will take their classes on
November 30. Mr. Schoening, Mrs. McElwain,
and Mrs. Dawsons classes will go on
December 1.
Our schoolwide canned food drive will
continue until November 20. We are collecting
canned food and pet food.
Please remember that we MUST have a note if
there are transportation changes. We suggest
writing this note in your childs agenda.
Your child is allowed to bring a water bottle
and a healthy snack to school each day. Water
bottles must be filled with water only. Juices
and other beverages are not allowed.

This week we are continuing

our work with fractions. We
will begin multiplying
fractions. Multiplication fact
fluency is extremely
important for all of our work
with fractions, so please
continue to help your child
practice these facts.

This week we will be

studying the ways that
heat is transferred.
We will talk about
conduction,
convection, and
radiation.
