    supportherbywritingthisletterofrecommendation.Tracyisanexemplarystudentandahumble
    youngladywhohasworkedveryhardtoachieveagoodacademicstatus.Tracyisafirst
    generation,lowincome,andunderprivilegedstudentswhoplansonfurtheringhereducationby
    enrollinginahighereducationinstitutiontocompleteabachelorsdegree.Sheknowsthatthisis
    thebestwaytoreachtowardsabetterfuture.
    OurTRIOprogramassistsfirstgeneration,lowincome,andunderrepresentedstudentswith
    collegevisitations,accessingcollegeinformation,scholarships,completingrequiredpaperwork
    forcollege,andworkshopsthatfocusonsuccessforhighereducation.Tracyhastakenadvantage
    ofallofourservices,evenwhenwehaveofferedsomeofourservicesontheweekends.For
    example,TracyparticipatedinourFAFSAworkshoponaSaturdaymorning.Shewantedtobe
    preparebeforeJanuary1stsoshecouldapplyforFAFSAontime.Thisdemonstratesher
    dedicationandresponsibilitytowardshereducation.Tracyasksquestions,takespersonal
    initiativetofollowuponimportanttasks,eitherinperson,phoneoremail.Sheisveryconsistent
    andwantstomakesurethatshehasaplaninplace.
    TracyhasworkedhardtomaintainaGPAhigherthan3.0andhasalsobeeninvolvedinother
    extracurricularactivities.Duringherhighschoolcareer,TracyhasparticipatedintheHealth
    ServiceClub,SenateClub,andTRIOEducationTalentSearch.ShehasalsotakenAPEuropean
    HistoryandAPU.S.History,whichreflectsonchallengingherselfandworkinghard.Asidefrom
    herschoolwork,Tracyhasalsotakenhertimetovolunteerinthecommunity.Shehasvolunteer
    hertimebypackingfoodattheOregonFoodBank,helpingelementarystudentstoimprovetheir
    reading,andcleaningupparksandhighways.Sheknowsthatgivingtohercommunityisaway
    topaybackforwhattheyhavedoneforher.Shewantstobeamentorforotherstoseek.
    ItisforthesereasonsthathavenodoubtthatwhateverTracydecidestodoinherfuture,shewill
    beverysuccessful.Tracywillworkveryhardtowardsachievingherpersonalgoalsandwill
    continuecontributingtohercommunityandbeyond.Shewillendureanyobstaclesthatlifemight
