Telecommunications 7/1979 to 10/2008
* Construction Engineering Manager with A.T.&T for last 10 years of career. Vast
experience in the placement, maintenance and restoration of all telephone facil
ities (fiber, copper, buried, ariel and underground. Trained and experienced in
reading blueprints and plats. Responsible for coordinating with engineering depa
rtment changes in the field that are encountered and deciding the necessity of c
hanges (as built job). Coordinated work with various vendors as needed to accomp
lish goals. Was part of time study project for A.T.&T. coordinated with U.P.S.
(measured efficiency time allotments for work tasks, later implemented by A.T.&T
. as part of MSOC). At retirement was part of project to produce video over copp
er wiring for television (U-Verse). Vast work experience in Central Office envir
onment.
* Began career in 1979 as Outside Plant Tech. (lineman). Surplused in 1985 and r
ehired in same capacity in 1987. Became Installation/ Repairman in 1996. During
those years worked with contractors and A.T.&T. supervisors coordinating road-wi
dening projects. Was involved in restoration of telephone facilities in many hur
ricane-damaged areas. Promoted to supervisor and led a team of 20 techs.. Respon
sibilities included Safety (to OSHA, DOT and A.T.&T. standards), Quality, Effici
ency and Production. Evaluated all techs. in said categories on a quarterly and
yearly basis. Also worked in billing department printing, sorting, boxing and sh
ipping monthly phone bills.
SKILLS:
Trained cable location, splicing, placement, testing etc.. Trained in public re
lations, union relations, human resources, leadership skills, and customer satis
faction, Class A CDL. Forklift certified. Merchandising experience since 10/2009

Graduated from Blessed Sacrament high school in New Rochelle, NY
9/1972 to 6/1976

Attended Palm Beach Community College

7/1976 to 1978 Biology major- no degree
Presently enrolled in Devry University obtaining degree in Electronic Network De
sign Engineering.
