    happenedtosenior,SummerNorth.Northwastoldshecouldnotuseapictureofherandher
    daughterforheryearbookdedication.
    ThosewhoopposeSummerspicturebeingintheyearbooksaythephotocondonesteen
    pregnancywhichiswhythebelieveitshouldnotbeshownintheyearbook.
    ThoseinsupportNorthsaythephotoisnodifferentthantheotherswhichshow
    footballs,books,oranyotherobjectusedtodescribetheseniorintheportrait.WhileNorthis
    usingherchildinthepicture,itshouldstillbeallowed.
    Iamproudofmyselfandmydaughter,saysNorth.Iwillbethefirsttoadmitbeinga
    teenparenthasntbeeneasy,butithasmotivatedmetofinishhighschool.
    Northalsoacknowledgesshewasawareofthephotorules.
    Ireadtheguidelinesclosely,andnowherediditsayIcouldnothaveHeatherinmy
    photo,saidNorth.
    RatherthannotallowingNorthspicturetobedisplayedintheyearbook,theyearbook
    staffshouldconsiderthedemographicsofhighschool.Peoplearecomingfromalldifferent
    typesofbackgroundsandnomatterwhat,shouldhavetheirlastyearinhighschoolcelebrated.
    Ofcourse,theschoolwontadvocateforteenpregnancy,butthephotoNorthsubmittedforthe
    yearbookdoesnotdoso.
    PerhapstheprincipalshouldstepinandstoptheunfairtreatmentNorthisreceiving.Itis
    nottheyearbookstaffsfaulttheyaretryingtofollowtherules,butsomeoneinanauthoritative
    positionneedstostepinandmaketheexceptionforSummerNorthandherdaughter.
