Tina Pan Dual Enrollment English 112 Point of View Essay June 496, 2016 Ss My Baby's Growing Up 7 S It seemed as if only a few days have passed since she started her senior year. Now | am planning for my daughter's graduation party. It is shockingly surprising to me that she is able to start caring for herself and plan her own future. Oh please, don't remind me about the times that she frustrated me. Even though | will have to less to do on my hands, since she will be leaving for college soon, | feel as if everything won't be the same without her. After all this hard work and time | spent on her, she is finally a responsible and well-behaved women. Tina always came home happy. Either_s} vars le to take a nap, or happy that she had a great time in coo eee, tology diass. But no matter what, | am glad that she is happy. Usually, she comes and tells me about her time at school. Although | ‘wouldn't want her to be apart of any gossip or drama, | truly want her to tell me something more interesting than her good grades in school. And there came that one day she told me about a grade she didn't favor! | know many people would agree with the statement that Asian parents are strict, but | am surely not strict. Well, at least | don't think | am. For me, the school year has went by pretty quick, and I'm sure Tina would agree that her's went by quick too. | can tell by the ay of her face that she will be missing alll her friends. Creole Leble7 Despite all the friends that she has, she often closes herself in her room. That is the one place where she will procrastinate the most. She takes naps on her bed, socialize on her phone, and sometimes try to do her homework, And because of her procrastination, she spends ity of her night doing all the work she did not do earlier in th cowie, Sn and Chris are Tina's two main best friends. It is word Sop Hays the ] riends, they are so different from each other. Taj goes to the Tech Center and take Cosmetology with Tina. Chris goes to the same school with her. Her best friends will eet bu. the things she misses from this school year. The other thing she will miss is her bed. She is with it ike three-fourths of the time. She sleeps on it, does her homework on it, and sometimes (although | prefer her not to) she eats food on it. | mean isn't the bed just a place to sleep? Next year, she will be at Penn State, without her queen size bed. The thought of her leaving for college shows me how much she has grown up. Eighteen years ago she was just a baby. | can't believe it. ! will miss her more than she misses me.
