Testing plan for redundant links:

As mentioned in the report there are redundant links connecting all the switches
together and also to the Distribution layer switch and to the Router. Just to remove
all the possibilities of any single point of failures all the redundant links have been
tested and put together. The links have been tested by forcefully shutting down the
ports and then checking whether the alternate ports have taken over the network or
not. The testing plans have been carried out successfully and redundant links were
found functional. Also, there was no effect on the flow of the normal traffic between
the network devices.

Testing plan for EtherChannel:

Ether Channel is responsible for the increase of amount of traffic moving per time
frame more quickly than it moves without bundling. But, the port bundling needs to
be proper or it may lead to irregularities in the traffic flow. It leads to formulation of
one port having multiple interfaces and all the configurations take place on that
single bundled port only. So it is very important for the administrator to know
whether it is functioning properly or not. The following commands below will be able
to verify the proper functionality of Ether Channel.

Show Lacp channel-group-number internal:It is used to verify LACP entries.

Show EtherChannelSummary: it shows the summary of ether channel configuration.
Show EtherChannel Brief: Shows configuration briefly of channel ports
Show EtherChannel port-channel: displays port channel information
Show EtherChannel load-balance: shows frame distribution scheme and load balance
