Definition of Anemia

Anemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or


amount of hemoglobin (the oxygen-carrying protein) in red blood
cells is below normal.
Anemia causes decreased number of red blood cells or the
amount of hemoglobin in red blood cells, so that the blood can not
carry oxygen in an amount corresponding body needs.

Symptoms

Pale eyelids
Frequent fatigue
Frequent nausea
Headache
Fingertips pale
Hard to breathe
Irregular heartbeat
Pale face
Hair loss
Decreased immunity

Causes
Iron deficiency
Intestinal bleeding
Bleeding

Genetic
Vitamin B12 deficiency
Folic acid deficiency
Bone marrow disorders
Malnutrition / malnutrition
Malabsorption

Treatment
