The ancient spartans used weapons such as

shields, dory, xiphos, and kipos that will help for
battling they will rather have a sharp and curved
slicing sword called (kopis), or have a sharp sword
but not curved called (xiphos).
The armor in sparta was 60 lbs for the
helmet .
The armor was made of bronze that's why it
wasnt as heavy for the spartans to run
The spartans had used bronze for their chest
plates and the helmet also, made out of bronze, the
greaves that protected the spartans shins were made
out of bronze, and finally, the pteruges were made out
of hardened leather that protected the groin region.

The wars that the sparta had in total were

about 5 wars the wars that they had were The
conquering of Messenia, the persian wars,the
peloponnesian war, and the wars with thebes. The
spartan battle in
The warriors of Sparta's were called the
hoplites. Hoplites were heavily armored and carried a
shield and a 6-9 foot thrusting spear.
The spartans had two kinds of swords, one
was straight and short, stabbing sword. The second
sword was a curved slashing sword.

Summary:
The spartans had war but in war they used spears ,they used sidearm weapons such as
xiphos a normal sword, and kopis a curved heavier slashing sword.However they used
shields ,But they had 4 kinds of shields but the shield had a hold made out of leather
called a (porpax),therefore they will have a thrusting spear named: dory which will be
about 6-9 feet long.
