Technical Characteristics
The luminaire shall be a wall mounted fluorescent bare batten channel light fitting polycarbonate lamp
holders securely held in UV stabilized, non dis-colouring, high impact end cap assemblies. It shall be
robust construction and complying with IEC60598.1; IEC60598.2.1;
IEEC60598.2.2; CISPR15; EMC comply to AS/NZS4051. It shall be equipped with 1 x 28W TL5 lamp
and high frequency electronic ballast. The IP rating is 20 under the Class I electrical insulation
category.
Luminaire housing
The luminaire housing shall be of sturdy roll-formed construction. The luminaire housing shall be of
electronic-galvanized steel with epoxy polyester hybrid 0.6mm, injection moulded ABS plastic end
caps. The finishes shall be gloss white powder coated.
Lamps and gears
The luminaire shall be supplied with 1 x 28W high efficiency TL5 lamp with total output of 2600
lumens. The lamp shall have colour temperature of 4000 K and colour rendering index (Ra) of more
than 80. The high frequency (HF) electronic ballast shall be designed to operate 1 x 28W TL5
fluorescent lamp.
The electronic ballast should comply with IEC928/929 with production conforming to ISO
standard.
The ballast loss shall not be greater than 3W per ballast with power factor greater than 0.95 when
operating under rated mains voltage and frequency of 220-240V and 50/60 Hz respectively.
Fitting shall be in HDB approved list.
