HE POLICY OF REDUCING REGIONAL DISPARITIES OF REPUBLIC

OF SERBIA
Abstract
Inevitability of continual existence of regional disparities economic reality in each
country is must disseminated the fact. If regional differences may take large scale, that means
that there has been a disruption in territorial structure of economy and structural disproportions
that perform a negative impact on the economic development. In this work is given to display
theoretical and practical experience, the measures and activities which developed countries of
the European Union are being taken to eliminate the uneven territorial social and economic
development, as well as the role and institutional actors in certain levels administrative political
community in the decision-making and implementing development plans and programs.
Analysis has shown that the different causes lead to regional disparities but on them different
acts. Consequences are also different and depend on the country by country. The goal of this
work is to show that the problem has been overcome regional disparities is not phenomenon, it
appears, and in the present time, and that the state must define strategic goals regional
development and to continuously provide appropriate assumptions for their as more efficient
implementation. So, are both necessary and commerce systemic and institutional assumptions
regional development of Republic of Serbia and all of that in order to reduce regional disparities.
