Dear Parent/Carer

We are looking forward to welcoming you and our new students at the New Parents
Evening on Thursday 30th June at 6.00 p.m. This will take place in South Hall; staff and
students will be on hand to direct you there when you arrive on the academy site.
The evening will give you and your child an opportunity to meet our Headteacher, Mr Cope,
and have him welcome you to our Academy. Although uniform will not be on sale during
the evening, items are available to purchase through your ParentPay account in the same
way as school meals.
Our overriding aim in making all of these arrangements is to ensure that your child joins us
in September in a confident and motivated frame of mind. Similarly, we want you, as
parents/carers, to feel assured that he/she is in safe hands, is looking forward to joining us,
and has the best possible opportunities to be a successful learner from day one.
A Year 7 welcome pack will be sent to you within the next couple of weeks summarising the
main day to day procedures and information for you to keep at hand for future reference.
Please do not hesitate to contact the academy, if you have any concerns or queries. In the
meantime, we look forward to meeting you on Thursday, 30th June 2016.
