To create a mySQL database and add a user, one must first log into CPanel and click the mySQL Database icon. Then provide a database name and click create, type a username and password and click create user, select the user and click add user, manage privileges and click make changes. It is important to note all information entered for use in installation.

Creating a mySQL database and adding a user

Step 1:
Login to CPanel:

Step 2:
Click on mySQL Database icon.

Step 3:
Provide a database name and click create database button .

Step 4:
At the bottom of the page type the required username, password and click create
user button.

Step 5:
Select the user from list and click add user.

Step 6:
Manage User privileges and click make changes button.

IMPORTANT: Take note of everything you enter as you will need it later in the
installation process.
