To whom itmay concern,
Ihave coached high school and college athletes for the past 41 years and every once
in awhile you get the opportunity to work with someone that is a truly outstanding
student/athlete and person. Nicole Malara is that person. She is the best of the best.
Her relentless work ethic has earned her the respect of her coaches and teammates.
Her persistent and consistent efforts have led to some impressive achievements in
the classroom and athletic arena.
She is a Dean’s List student. She earned the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
Scholar-Athlete Award for 2013 - 2014. She completed the requirements for a
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with Special Education from Seton Hill
University in 2015 with a 3.62 GPA in her major.
Her academic dedication and exemplary performance was also exhibited by her
performances as a member of the Track and Field Team at Seton Hill University.
She was a captain of our track team two consecutive seasons. No one worked harder
than Nicole to try to reach her potential and beyond. She led by example. She was a
multi-events athlete competing in both the pentathlon and heptathlon for our team.
‘These grueling events offered Nicole the challenges that she thrived on and her
performances were outstanding. In the 2014 indoor season she achieved All-
Conference honors in the Pentathlon. She is one of the most driven student/athletes
Pve ever coached.
Nicole is a well-read, mature, young lady. She has prepared herself to aggressively
meet the challenges the future holds for her. She won't settle for anything less than
her maximum effortand she won't be satisfied until she accomplishes all of her
goals.
Nicole has represented herself, her family, her track team and Seton Hill University
in superior fashion in the classroom, athletic arena and the community.
Being able to coach Nicole has been an extremely rewarding experience for me. | am
very proud of the person she has become and what she has been able to accomplish.
Ican give her the highest of recommendations without any reservations. She will be
a solid, productive member of any staff, business or program.
