Tam pleased to provide Jordan Tamblyn with a letter of reference. [have had the
pleasure of being Jordan's Associate Teacher at North park Collegiate & Vocational School in
Brantford, Ontario this semester. Jordan's time spent with me as a teacher candidate was
phenomenal. She took the responsibility and instruction of classes with ease and a strong sense
of curricular expectations. She was always prepared for class, always willing to help students and
with aplomb and a keen sense of fairness. Two of the classes Jordan was responsible for were
two senior Drama classes (ADA3M and ADA4) which can present a myriad of obstacles given
the innumerable academic needs of the students as they prepare for post-secondary education,
Jordan met the individual needs of each student by familiarizing herself with IEPs and consulting
with me on a number of occasions about the “best fit” for each student. She gained the trust and
admiration of the students in the classes she taught, she was able to laugh with them and
promoted a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, which are attributes that are the backbone of an
exceptional teacher.
Jordan's diligence and desire to help students are two of her best traits. She offers
constructive and positive suggestions for improvement all the while reinforcing and supporting
students’ creativity. Jordan's happy-go-lucky personality lends itself professionally, co-
‘operatively and emotionally to both the students who attend the classes she is involved with and.
the staff of North Park Collegiate & Vocational School. Jordan engages with students and has the
innate ability to inspire trust, mostly due to her compassionate and caring demeanor but also
because of her wisdom and knowledge of curriculum and assessment strategies.
Jordan is creative, clever and wise-beyond-her-years, She is able to tease out meaning in
‘everything she does because she possesses maturity and foresight. I believe in my heart of hearts
that Jordan Tamblyn will be a valuable asset to any school environment.
Thave the utmost belief that as Jordan enters the teaching community she will prove to be
a bright light in every child’s learning. If I were ever in the position to hire a teacher, Jordan
would be the first candidate I would consider. I highly recommend her for any teaching position
she may apply for. Please feel free to contact me in the event you require Further information
regarding this remarkable young woman.
Sincerely,
U We Sana
