Setup of Fail Label Printer for Ivis5

1. Connect Fail Label printer to serial port

2. Install the Windows Printer driver => Admin rights necessary

Driver Generic Text only @ serial port

Set this printer as windows default printer

3. Set Up the parameter of the printer => Admin rights necessary

Open Properties of the printer

General Settings => Print processor

Baudrate = 9600 Baud, #Datbits=8. Parity=None,Stop Bit=1, Flow control= None

or Xon/Xoff depends on the use cable (Advantage to use Xon/Xoff is that Ivis
recognize an offline/missing printer)
Set up the complex setting

Available= always, Priority=99, Driver=generic.., Print over printer spooler =active

Start print after receiving the complete file=on

Font selection

Set the code page = Multiligual Latin (850)

Example printout :

Lines per page Fail = 100 (shows the first 100 founded failures)
Left margin Fail =0 Must be because when it's >0 then the printer cannot
understand the command lines from the label mask!
Single Report Lines = ON a new line is created for each pin/connector name
Short Error Prompt = ON
