Kingfisher Airlines

History

Kingfisher airlines was established in 2003.It as own


by the Bengaluru.
Airline started commercial operation on 9 may 2005
with a fleet of four Mumbai to Delhi.
International operation started from 9 sep 2008.
Mainly it focus in cities namely: Chennai
international airport ; Puna international airport.
The CEO of kingfisher airlines is Sanjay Aggrawal
and MD is Vijay Malaya.
In 20 October 2012 DGCA(Director General of civil
Aviation)suspended its flight certificates because
not given an effectiveness response to the DGCA.
India government announced the withdrawal of
both Domestic and International flight entitlement
allocated to the airlines.
The CEO quite on 17 Feb 2014

CAUSES

Lack of management.
High operation cost.
Frequency change on focus.
Lack of Delegation.
Unfair fares.
Burning fuel.

ATTRITION :
In simple layman language attrition
means reducing the staff in the
organization.
This situation occur infornt of employer
when he or she leaving the organisation
due to dissatisfaction for job.
In 2012 march and sep, almost 40%
employee leave the kingfisher airlines.

Reasons for attrition


Posting at difficult area.
Flighting with dual enemies Maoists
and malaries.
Long working hours leading to sleep
deprivation.
Lack of leave availability in time they
required.
Lack of basic health care.
poor promotional policies revision.

Suggestion to improve
Reducing the labours cost
Offer more transparent pricing.
Forgein investment.
Fuel efficient plans for shorter
distance.
Improve revenue per passenger.
