Queens Preschool Mission Statement

Through love of learning, we learn to live
Nestled within a High School Educational environment our highly qualified teachers and
low child ratios enable our preschool to provide quality education and care to our small,
family originated service for children from the ages of 0-5 years.
Unique to our centre is the availability to access a huge pool of resources and use of
facilities of Queens High School. Use of the gym, technology departments and
transportation allows many off site experiences. Weekly excursions enable all children to
regularly experience interactions out and about in the wider community.
A transition to school programme for children aged 4 years is provided by our teachers.
Group and individual encouragement in literacy, numeracy and communication skills are
promoted. Links with local primary schools enable our children to actively partake in
transition programmes within these schools.

Queens Preschool nurtures and cares for children of ages 0-5 years from all
aspects of our community in a stimulating intimate environment that
promotes socialisation and education and prepares them for their successful
