usat Latihan Khidmat Negara (PLKN) implemented in our country, a combination of

military training and cultivation of patriotic values to the younger generation towards
love, affection and love of their country. This program differs from that implemented
conscription of some other countries because of using our own modules and tailored
to the social, cultural and economic.
Implemented this program brings benefits. Through which adolescents can instill
patriotic values of the party among the youth today. Changing times and current way
of life, making them complacent to not know the meaning of hardship and sufferings
generation before merdeka. PLKN also act as a mechanism for the formation of selfdiscipline teenagers. Self-discipline is the foundation for any success. Free time after
the "Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia" (SPM) filled with useful activities and discipline
ourselves to the schedule specified. The program is also able to finalize their minds
after undergoing training and test mental and physical endurance.
This program, which involves various races also, to strengthen national integration.
Through this program, young people from different races, cultures and religions
gathered together in one platform to nourish the spirit of unity. This is because while
going through the program they stay together. PLKN trainers also help the trainees
to understand the way the country which includes the land, the people and is
administered through the system administrative rules. Program implemented in PLKN
covering modules, namely physical training, team building courses, characterbuilding courses and community service. Physical training does not involve the use
of PLKN firearms or military. The students will learn marching, unarmed combat, first
aid, cross barriers and sport activities. Through this military base, teenagers are
exposed to leadership skills and initiative life. In complete, the "Program Latihan
Khidmat Negara" conducted indeed benefit the youth and the country .. Thus, all the
particularly teens and parents need the government's call to participate in this
program.
