'Legally Insane'
Synopsis
Sleep deprivation is a general term to describe a state caused by
inadequate quantity or quality of sleep, including voluntary or
involuntary sleeplessness and circadian rhythm sleep disorders.
Sleep is as important to the human body as food and water, but
many of us dont get enough sleep. Insufficient sleep, inadequate
quality of sleep or disruptions to the sleep-wake cycle have
consequences for how we function in the daytime, causing
sleepiness and fatigue. In my documentary we will be analyzing the
effects of all this and the consequenses of it all.
Detailed outline
The start of my documentary will consist of a chronic sleep deprived
patient and he will talk about how he deals with this condition it will
also move on to an interview with a sleep physician and he will talk
and give you more in depth specialist information on sleep
deprivation.
The middle part of my documentary is when I am interviewing the
public and talking about what I will be attempting to perform, the side
effects of what sleep deprivation can do to the human body and
getting the opinions of the public on this matter.
The end part of my documentary is me performing a sleep experiment
of no sleep for 72 hours and of me analyzing and monitoring how my
body is holding up in these conditions and seeing the real effect of it
all.
