Landscape and geology


The land filled with mountains and trees were home to the southern
Tutchone. Most animals put themselves at risk each day by the land
and each danger it can hold. Kluane is an amazing place if you want to
go camping or even hiking.

location and History


Kluane is located in the southern parts of Yukon.
the Southern Tutchone has lived in kluane for over thousands of years and they taught the
youth how to recognize animal track from the animal it came from. They were taught about
plants and what they are are they dangerous or what are they use for for medication.

Climate
The highest point in temperature in Kluane is 20 and is very nice when you get
outside and go to this park. The lowest point is -26 it will be cold but the ice that
can form in the cold nights can be amazing.

Vegetation
The climatic overlap of the pacific and arctic air masses. A montane forest of white spruce and tree lines. Some parts contain small
shrubs while other parts are covered with color

Kluane has all sorts of wildlife like the dall sheep,mountain goats,caribou, grizzly
and black bears,wolves and varieties of small mammals and more.
