Beginning in 2007, the French program had fewer than 50 students. By 2012, the program had
grown to more then 150 students in French I through IV. Beginning fall 2016, a middle school
French offering will begin. Since beginning to collect data, 99% of students have shown adequate
growth on content area tests semester tests. Curriculum has been redesigned to meet ACTFL
Proficiency and World Readiness standards and to align with Advanced Placement (AP) Themes.
