Theme/ Style
Our idea is to present street awareness and how to be safe
on the streets. It includes scenes like dealing drugs, fights,
murder and sexual harassment. The style of the advert is
drama. The themes of the advert are crime and safety. We
used these two because we can show what crime happens
on the street and how to avoid it and be safe. We show this
by presenting different situations. The narrative structure is
to show what crime that can happen on the streets and how
to be aware of it. The plot is a girl meeting her older
boyfriend who owes a man money for drugs. The man he
owes money to approaches the couple asking for the money
which leads to a street fight and a murder. Kidnapping and
sexual harassment is also presented.
There isnt a lot of music or sound but we are doing a voice
over which gives off a very a very serious and sinister
atmosphere.
Our setting will be in a school. The young girl will have her

Props/ Costumes/ Makeup:

Our props will be a fake knife that will be used for the murder towards to
boyfriend. The fake drug packet will be used to show what the two boys are
talking and fighting about. Money signals will also be used to show what the man
wants. There will be a school bag to show the girl is still in school and she will also
be on her phone. We are using the blindfold to show the kidnapping and make it
feel real. The costumes will be very simple and just be a girl in a scruffy school
uniform and the two boys in hoodies.
There will be no make-up used apart from the girl who will have a small amount

carrying weapons around and you might not know.
