Efficiency, dynamic personality and professionalism. They may be four
words chosen to summarize the role of a secretary.
Therefore, every April 26, held the "Secretary's Day", in which the work
order and responsibility that perform these precious ladies in the various
companies in the world is recognized.
To go back in history prior to this event, it is noteworthy that after an
effort to promote the professionalism of this occupation is created in US
the National Association of Secretaries, in 1942.
In 1952, Mary Barrett, president of the National Association of
Secretaries, C. King Woodbridge, president of Dictaphone Corporation,
and Harry F. Klemfuss an American businessman, were the creators of
secretary day, as a tribute the hard work the staff plays in an office. In
Peru, the Secretary's Day was institutionalized since 1980.
The word secretary comes from secret, and not try to hide or keep the
secrets of the boss or the company, but rather means loyalty to perform
work dynamically with honesty and nobility, so that the secretary and
stopped be the typist, which only writes letters or answer the phone, but
delves into more relevant functions, organization and assistance to their
superiors.
Agendas, meetings, invoices, collections, essays letters, speeches, file
documents, translations, scanner, personal folders and endless tasks
that appear every day. All this suggests that the secretary should always
be there to help their heads, senior executives and the company for
which they work.
In Peru was officially announced on April 26 as the Day of the InterAmerican Secretary at the request of the Peruvian Association of
Secretaries that pursuant to the agreement of the Congress of
Argentina, made the Peruvian authorities achieving the declaration of
Secretary's Day by Supreme Decree the Ministry of Labour in 1980.

In recent decades, the role of secretary was more relevant and its image
is not associated with a typewriter but a computer screen. With the
presence of modernity, such as technology, the secretary left the image
of "listening, writes and silent", to play an increasingly active role in the
company in which it operates.
Secretary in the world:
The first secretaries in history were women who had to deal with one of
the planet's biggest problems: the wars. At that time, they were used to
work at home, children and husbands. When the war ended, the wives
were devoted to communication by telegraph, typing and shorthand.
The war left sequels and one of them was the economic crisis that hurt
Europe. This required the active participation by family members. While
the children did the impossible to acquire higher education, the
daughters who were not married were allied to the typewriter.
June 26 is a date where the contribution of the secretaries in workplaces
recognized. It is the manager of the manager's time with the
collaboration, that this is due not to worry rather than making decisions
that benefit the progress of the company.

DAY OF WATER
A drop of water is flexible. A drop of water is powerful. A drop of water is
more necessary than ever.
Water is an essential element of sustainable development. Water
resources, and the range of services they provide, play a key role in
poverty reduction, economic growth and environmental sustainability.
Water promotes the welfare of the population and inclusive growth, and
has a positive impact on the lives of billions of people, to influence
issues affecting food and energy security, human health and the
environment.
World Water Day 2016: "Water and employment".
Water means employment
Water is an essential element of life. But it is more than essential to
quench thirst or health protection; Water is vital for creating jobs and
support economic, social and human development.
Today, half the world's workers (1.5 billion people) working in sectors
related to water. Moreover, almost all jobs, regardless of the sector,
depend directly on this. However, despite the inextricable link between
work and water, millions of people whose lives depend on the liquid
element often are not recognized or protected by the basic labor rights.
The power of water and employment transform the lives of people.
Half of all workers on the ground are employed in sectors related to
water, but millions of them are not recognized or protected.
March 22 is a day to highlight the essential role of water and promote
improvements to the world's population suffering from water-related
problems. It is a day to discuss how we manage water resources in the
future. In 1993, the United Nations General Assembly appointed him as
World Water Day. It's been 23years and is still held worldwide.
