    anotherway.Whatyouexpectfromsomethingcanbetotallywrong.Libertyshouldhavebeen
    Sadieshappiness,yetitwasn't.Thisgoesbacktotheclaimthatlibertywasn'tenough.Sheis
    sayinginthisquotethatnoonereallyhasthisliberty,youhaveitforawhileandeventuallylet
    goorwalkawayfromit.Icantstandstothinkofleavingwhenfreetodoaswewants.Onlyones
    freethespiritsIsays(Rawles160).Jimissayinghownowthattheyarefreetheycanbe
    togetherandleaveandSadieisstatingthatnooneisfree,theonlyonesfreearethespirits.

    FromSchulmansviewonMyJimshebelievesthatthetopiclibertyisnotenoughforthe
    maincharacterinthebook.Libertyisatopicthatisn'treallybroughtupnow.Itissupposedtobe
    thateveryoneisafreemanbutnoteveryone'sdefinitionoflibertyorfreedomisthesame.
    Libertyisn'tenoughattheendofthedaybecausewecanhavethetitleoflibertyyetnotfeelit.
