History of New York


City
New York City was founded in 1624

Webb have been working extremely


hard this semester. And in order to
congratulate them, we are setting up
a trip to New York City. This guide will
explain everything that is happening,
what is New York and many other
things you may want to know about
this trip.

1776 by the British until the
Continental Army took it back in
1783. New York City served as the
capital of the US 1785 to 1790.
New York City served as one of the

War II, this helped the US by
making bombs, ammunition and
guns. Many people affected by
World War II fled to New York, as it
was one of the rising cities with
opportunity. On September 11th
2001, New York City had one of
the worst acts of terrorism to date.
The Twin Towers were hit with two
hijacked planes and over 3000
people died. New York City has
then rebuilt itself and became a
stronger nation after these attacks.
Becoming bigger and better with
more attractions and more things to
do in New York City.

-Head to Chinatown for the day

-Meet Jay Z and other celebrities at MSG

-Go anywhere across New York City
