Murray, Kristian. "Education of Global Citizenship." 6 June 2016. Document.
Kristian Murray engages the audience in the idea that there is a need for education on the subject of global citizenship. She goes on to provide reasons that global citizenship is important which are equality, global education, and the conservation of our environment. She illuminates that there is a need for the teaching of the importance of global citizenship, as we are living in dangerous times and the worst thing we can do is try to recluse ourselves. Kristian Murray is a sophomore at Northern Oklahoma College majoring in mathematics. She uses some sources that are widely supported and some that are opinion pieces. This gives different viewpoints and positions and makes her argument stronger. All of her sources were published after 2013 and many of them are from this year making them very relevant. Murray gives a great argument on why the education of global citizenship in important, and why we need to be focusing on educating that fact rather than closing our doors to the global community.
