Camp Cadet. Various State Police-hosted camp locations
and dates.
Children 12 to 15 years of age (11-13 in Chester
County) participate in a week-long camp to help with discipline, self-esteem, teamwork, drug and alcohol education, violence prevention and other issues facing youth.

GSK Science in the Summer. Local libraries. Various

Elementary school students can take four-day, gradespecific sessions at local locations in Southeastern Pennsylvania counties, with genetics the topic in Chester
County, oceanography in Delaware County, physical science in Montgomery, chemistry in Bucks and bioscience
in Philadelphia.

Parent Cafes. Connections on High Caf, 238 East High

receive and share information on parenting and strengthening families during monthly morning or evening sessions hosted by the Pottstown Family Center and the

State Trooper Waleska Gonzalez will take ages 13
through 18, though a 16-week Walking Girls to Success
initiative to build a positive mentoring relationship using
real life experiences to teach alternative behaviors for
positive results.

T.I.M.S. New Life in Christ Fellowship, 1 South 5th
Avenue, Coatesville. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Training Introspection Mentoring Service (T.I.M.S.)
provides youth ages five through 18 with positive peer
group involvement, hands-on skill development,
knowledge of African-American culture, and a
relationship with Christian men and women as role
models.
It teaches youth what it means to be men and women
spiritually, culturally, socially and physically, addresses
goal-setting, etiquette, career planning and community
service, and acknowledges and honors a young mans or
womans growth and changes.
Students must participate on a regular basis and
parents or guardians must complete an application.

Fund-raising activities generally are not published unless there is a good mixture of free activities also available, including free
admission, with a participant having the choice of purchasing incidental items such as food or crafts.
Church events generally are published only if they are separate from normal weekly worship services.
