Notes represented on the fingerboard above are color-coded to assist with identifying notes having a common pitch. As
examples: any red A is the same pitch as any other red A, any orange Bb is the same pitch as any other orange Bb, and any yellow
F# is the same pitch as any other yellow F#.
Locations where harmonics may be produced are identified at 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, and 5/6 of a distance from the bridge to the nut.
Although harmonics may be produced at numerous other locations on the cello, the identified harmonics may be utilized as points
of reference when locating the positions of the various notes represented above.
