The MXDefaults.cfg is saved in the following folders::

Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bentley\MX\MXDefaults.cfg
Windows 7:
C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MX\MXDefaults.cfg
Add following lines to the file and save the file:
[RecoveryWizard]
Enabled=yes
The MX Status Monitor helps to close / restart MX when the application hangs, close MX
options/dialog box that are running.

BHAVIN PARMAR i am using windows 8, i am not getting the status monitor windows to appear after
reinstall previously it was working. Please help asap.
