Approval of minutes
The minutes for the meeting held on 19-04-2016 were approved without
amendment.

AGM

Report from our President, Treasurer and Secretary

Committee: Julia is leaving the committee but continuing her enthusiastic
lead of the Craft Group, as well as DCA (Duffield Community Assn) link and
DEWI Carnival planning co-ordinator.
Other current Committee members have agreed to stand again. We are joined
by Juliet C. Approval for members approved by show of hands Thanks!
Appointment of President: Gail has agreed to stand again approval given by
majority vote of members present.

Business

Songbirds Choir led by Katharine, meet Thursday evenings, first try free then
5/session
Christmas Charity nomination posters for our November meeting please

Gardening Group have a plant swap tonight, upcoming events

Cookery Club with Helen and Helen Vegetarian Cookery on Wed 8th June,
spaces available still. Helen WE will email information to participants
Craft Group Wed 1st June repair and re-do old jewellery
Cumberhills Summer Outing in Stratford-on-Avon Tues 9 August 2016
Champagne Breakfast at Morley Hayes on Saturday 1st October2016 25 each,
please bring 10 deposit next meeting June- to confirm room booking

Carnival DEWI will set up in the Beer Tent with Challenges for Jam making,
fruit cake, Victoria sponge, Duffield Photo in the last year adult/childrens
competition, Card fit for a Queen.
Vivs Trips Out Activities:
o Country Pub Walk Tues 28 June, meet 7pm at the Bridge Inn.
o Outdoor Cinema Ghost on Friday 12 August in Markeaton Park
Wine Tasting, potentially on Friday 23 September at St Alkmunds Church
Hall, tickets will be available
Hansons Auction trip on Friday 1 July in Etwall
