Attention all D.P.P.O. Members:

After much review over the past year, your Board of Directors is recommending adopting the attached
new bylaws for Duclos Point Property Owners Inc. These bylaws were unanimously approved by your
Board at our last meeting.
Other than some amendments, the entire bylaws have not been updated since 1995 over 20 years
ago!
Rather than try to update and amend the existing document, it was decided to start from scratch using
elements of the existing bylaws as well as those of other not-for-profit organizations similar to DPPO.
The new bylaws conform to todays standards for our type of entity. They are also more comprehensive
in addressing the responsibility and accountability of your Board of Directors.
This document should serve us well for the foreseeable future. We will be voting on adopting these new
bylaws at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on July 9.
