This lesson will teach children the importance of
eating healthy and will require them to pick a
favorite fruit and vegetable, explain why those
are their favorite and draw a picture of what
they picked as their favorite fruit and
vegetable. This will be done on flashcards, on
the front the name and drawing of their
fruit/vegetable and on the back with the
explanation with correct spelling of why they
chose that, they should make two separate
flash cards for each. This lesson will require
students to use their critical thinking skills and
their artistic skills also.

- W.1.2: Write informative/explanatory texts
- Students will pick a fruit and vegetable
- Students will explain why those are their
favorite
- Students will draw a picture based on what

favorite fruit and vegetable.

communicated with their classmates.
